AT&T Enhanced IP Services Trial Development Case Study (Adobe PDF, 44k)
ITCN was contracted by AT&T to build and host the Enhanced IP services trial site. This site allowed At&T users involved in the trial to customize links, search engines and login accounts to various new and experimental Internet projects. ITCN forged new ground in TCP/IP network programming with At&T personnel in order to provide the functionality offered in this trial.
AT&T Global Networks Extranet Development Case Study (Adobe PDF, 101k)
Initially, ITCN was only contracted to provide the database and web design for the Global Network Services web site. Since ITCN delivered effectively and on time under immense pressure from world-wide scrutiny, we were contracted to return and deliver the entire AT&T and IBM Integration Extranet System, which served over several years as the transition project for AT&T and IBM personnel. This Extranet allowed a secure collaborative communications channel for both AT&T and IBM personnel working on the project.
Avaya, Inc. contracted ITCN to develop their Electronic Information Resource Center (eIRC) intranet news portal. For the intranet content, ITCN created a custom content management system to allow site administrators to update the site themselves. For the news portal, ITCN developed a custom NT Service to poll a Dow Jones Interactive (DJI) XML feed and populate an internal search engine database.
Lucent Business Knowledge Intranet Development Case Study (Adobe PDF, 123k)
At first ITCN was only contracted to create a front-end for an accounting application for the Chief Financial Office of Lucent. As deadlines approached, ITCN’s rapid application development model provided user customizable online exams, surveys, personalized traffic-tracking and access control systems, that allowed the Lucent CFO division to complete their project on time and on budget.

Lucent My IT Info Intranet Case Study (Adobe PDF, 47k)
The Lucent CIO Disivion sought to leverage an existing database containing IT equipment, cost and deployment data as part of an overall cost reduction initiative. The goal was to provide Lucent associates and directors with direct access to the numbers and the mean to act on this information so they could better manage their expenditures. ITCN designed and developed an interface to the legacy database that leveraged existing network accounts to automatically present personalized reports for each user. Hierarchal functionality to allow managers to review the cost and spending of their direct reports was included.
Lucent Better Business Practices Intranet Case Study (Adobe PDF, 134k)
ITCN developed a multi-stage document publishing system that followed a Business Practice from submission, through several stages of review, to publication utilizing automated email notifications to allow content to be processed by the user community, subject matter experts and direct administrative action. The process also allowed published Business Practices to be updated, archived, rated and discussed. In addition, a multiple-attribute cataloging system was developed to allow end users to easily find proposed and approved practices by topic specific browsing or searching.
Lucent Global Integration Services and Operations Intranet Case Study (Adobe PDF, 46k)
The Lucent Global Integration Services and Operations (GISO) Division was presented with the daunting task of migrating over 160 different web sites on the Lucent intranet into a cohesive Intranet community. ITCN created a content portal comprised of an administrative area that allowed multiple site owners access to publish content to their portion of the portal using a number of pre-defined page templates. The site owner was then provided with the ability to restrict access to administrative tools using existing Lucent network accounts to minimize maintenance overhead and to maintain the logical structure of the portal.
